IEEE World Haptics Conference 2025
Hands-on Demos
Hands-on demonstrations are highly valued at the IEEE World Haptics Conference, and you may showcase any type of haptic devices, software, experiences, or experiments of interest to the haptics community.
Submissions must include a one-page abstract, a representative video (MPEG-4 format with a resolution of at least 720p, up to 2 minutes, and with a file size not exceeding 50 MB), and a floor plan of the demonstration, to be submitted through PCS.
Abstracts are to be prepared in the IEEE format and submitted as a PDF file. Abstracts should clearly describe the demonstration and its scientific novelty as well as include a descriptive title and a list of authors. Authors should avoid generating content using AI agents (e.g., LLMs such as ChatGPT or similar), but the usage of these tools is allowed for editing and checking the author’s own text.
Submissions will go through a juried review process involving the four demo co-chairs. Accepted submissions will be showcased at the conference venue on a dedicated demo stand. They will be included in the conference proceedings but will not appear in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library. For the demos at the conference, each entry will receive one table, two chairs, one poster board, and one power strip with two EU plugs (220V, 60 Hz). Any additional requirements should be specified in the submitted abstract and floor plan.
